Money as defined by many is the legal tender for every transaction made. This is relative as it may not be applicable in all situation. In some occasion it may be labour, material exchange or attention.
In the four walls of learning environment, either conventional or unconventional, success can only be guaranteed when you pay attention. Of course, a stipulated amount of money may be paid to have access to lessons but the most required for maximization of the investment fee is attention. While learning, a lot compete with attention, hence the need to disregard every trait of distractions. To PAY attention, the following must be observed:
. Create interest for topics taught,
. Listen raptly to every information communicated
. Take notes from information communicated in clearly defined words. It stops the mind from straying.
. In a situation where you can’t possibly write all, take voice notes (record). The essence of note taking is to help you have reference points whenever the topic is revisited.
. Be cautious of areas being emphasized by the tutor. Such emphasis highlights the need to study well either for right definition or application in test.
. Contribute to lessons by asking questions or suggesting valid points.
. Have a group studying to share knowledge of what was learnt.
. Study personally and form your own notes from your understanding of note taken during classes.
“Attention is the legal tender paid for good success.” Consider paying well for it always
